WHAT IS SIBOW? WHO'S IT FOR? HOW IT HELPS HOW IT'S MADE
WHAT IS SIBOW?

Sibow has been described on PlayAbilities.com as "Simon, but better."
It's an audio-visual playtool designed to challenge and strengthen memory, balance, and the vestibular system. We've improved the popular Simon game by adding enhanced user settings, stomp-safe buttons, and a durable foam skin, so the toy can be used in multiple play environments.

HOW TO PLAY

Sibow is a memory game, based on the popular children's game Simon. The lights blink in a specific sequence, adding one more light to the pattern each time you succeed in repeating the pattern. If you press the wrong button, Sibow highlights the correct one then restarts the game. If you win, Sibow blinks happily and plays a tune. Also, each button makes a unique sound when pressed or when the computer highlights that button.

Taking the Simon game a step further, we've added user-controlled speed settings. When the game is turned on, you choose from four different levels of difficulty. Red is easy, blue is hard, and yellow and green are in between. When playtesting Sibow, we found that when the light pattern blinks more quickly, it's easier to remember the pattern. Slower blinks make the brain strain harder to keep track of the previous lights. Therefore, the easier the level, the faster the light sequence. Harder levels give you less time to press each light in the sequence. To win the easiest level, you must get 5 right in a row. Each successive difficulty level adds two more lights to the pattern.
